The perfect exfoliant?

You probably already know that it’s important to regularly exfoliate, but why?

Skin is constantly generating new cells at the lower dermis level to replace dead skin cells on the upper layer. As we get older, this process slows and cells gather unevenly on the skin’s surface. This leads to both dull dry patches and a lack-lustre appearance.

When you exfoliate, you help to remove these dead skin cells and reveal the fresher, younger cells below.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE

physical vs chemical

In pursuit of a healthy glow and a smoother complexion, many of us can tend to over-exfoliate. This could be due to a number of reasons such as using harsh scrubs, using a weekly exfoliating treatment too often or using an exfoliant or ingredient not suited to your skin type and concerns.

The main difference between exfoliants are physical-based exfoliants or chemical-based exfoliants.
